‘Yes, I’m contesting. I’m damn serious’ – Ken Agyapong on presidential race

Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has reiterated his drive to contest in the presidential race in Ghana’s 2024 elections.

He said this at a “Guidance Conference” held in Takoradi, in the Western Region, today, August 19.

“We are here [guidance conference] not to do politics, but the question you have asked, the answer is ‘yes’. I have said this several times, but I don’t know why people don’t believe it. I am 62 years old. I am not a young man. If I was working for the government, I would have been on a pension, so when I tell you I’m contesting, I’m not going to lie,” he said while answering a young lady’s question.

Mr Agyapong said he was serious with his presidential ambition and that he was “damn serious”.
