The Leader of Calvary Deliverance Ministry Prophet Emmanuel Twumasi has said schooling does not necessarily guarantee a successful future but talents.
In a sermon at his church on Sunday, January 9, he said, the advice parents and guardians often give to their wards to go to school, get good grades and subsequently secure themselves good jobs is not really the answer to success.
“I am not against the young ones going to school. But many are spending huge sums of money to go to school and after the school they suffer to get jobs and I tell you that so many people have failed in their endeavours because they forced school on them,” he said.
Prophet Emmanuel Twumasi said Ghanaians must be talent-focused and pursue them instead of everybody spending number of years in school to acquire certificates.
“If your field is in carpentry, shoemaking or painting go ahead and grab it. Do not let anyone distract you. Once that is your given talent, when you persevere and pursue it diligently you will succeed,” he noted.
