Barima Sidney calls for postponement of 2021 Xmas in new song, says times are hard

In a new song dubbed “Do Sumtin” released yesterday, December 1, hiplifer Barima Sidney has called for the postponement of the 2021 Christmas celebrations and related festivities arguing there is much hardship in the system.

The song which featured DJ Ohenebee and produced by Beat on Faya (also known as Sky) chronicles the struggles many Ghanaians go through on day-to-day basics.

Barima Sidney seemingly asks his parents, in the song, the sort of items he bought for them in last year’s Christmas and the other previous ones as they (the parents) mentioned chicken, goat and a cow in response.

Sidney has for the past 26 years entertained Ghanaians with back-to-back hit songs like “Apuskele”, “Africa Money” and “Colour TV”.
