A simulated political party, Democratic Action Alliance has unveiled its flagbearer and running mate.
This forms part of the the University of media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC), Ghana Institute of Journalism branch political communication course. All level 300 students have been mandated to form simulated political parties.
The simulated political parties are expected to engage in activities including launching their respective parties, electing executives, flagbearers, and running mates and practically applying the political communication strategies taught in class.
Flagbearer of the Democratic Action Alliance, Reginald Pepsival Robertson, in an interview with Aniwaba.com said the DAA firmly believes that everyone deserves an equal chance at life.
“We envision an economy that works for all, not just the wealthy elites”.
He further indicated his party supports a universal healthcare system that is accessible and affordable to all citizens, regardless of their financial status.
The Democratic Action Alliance also indicated its readiness to work tirelessly in securing victory on the final day of the project.
The competition will be climaxed with rallies from various parties and a debate by all flagbearers and running mates of the various parties on Friday, March 24,2023 at the Dzorwulu campus of UniMAC, GIJ campus.
