Ashanti Gold Ghana Limited, together with its subsidiary firm, Bibiani Mesin Gold, has donated to the maternity unit of the Bibiani Government Hospital upon an appeal for assistance by the facility’s administration to the mining company.
The donation which includes two sets of air-conditioners was presented to the hospital by the Sustainability Manager for Bibiani Mensin Gold, Lawyer Emmanuel Aidoo.
He advised the administration, especially the nurses, to take good care of the items they presented to the hospital so that it would encourage them to bring more
Madam Comfort Andoh, the ANC in charge of the Bibiani Government Hospital, expressed her joy and pleaded for more support, especially for the medical waste system and drainage bay.
Some of the pregnant women expressed their joy, indicating they will now feel comfortable whenever they come for anti-natal.
