Popular Nigerian actor Jim Ihyke is set to premiere his debut movie production, ‘Bad Comments’, on October 2, 2021, at 4 pm at the Silverbird cinemas in Accra.
The movie is a fast-paced fusion of drama and thriller, with a blend of comedy reliefs inspired by true-life events.
Speaking in an interview on TV3 New Day, the Nollywood star said there will be a red carpet session where he will also take photos and connect with his fans.
Jim Ihyke expressed his excitement ahead of the premiere and believed that the turnout would be immense.
“I am just really excited about the premiere of the movie tomorrow. 4pm is when I can sit with everyone to watch the movie”.
He said the movie will also be shown in the cinema for a month after it has been premiered. This would give others who would not make it to the premiere an opportunity to glimpse at the movie even after it has already been premiered.
“We intend to have every one of consequence to support what we are doing. We have reached out to all and sundry. Like I said, it is time to be excited”.
Jim Ihyke stated that the premiere of the movie in Ghana was a decision from the get-go because he was supposed to select from another African country apart from Nigeria for the premiere, and Ghana was the obvious choice.
“I thought let me go with where I love and then Ghana was the obvious choice”.
He urged all Ghanaians to support and come out in their numbers to watch the movie.
